BawBaw

How it works

The dog park is only fun when the right dogs are there.

Most of us know the morning: you walk over, the park is empty, your dog sniffs around for ten minutes and you go home. Or the one dog yours doesn't get along with is there, and you turn around.

We already try to fix this at the gate: "same time tomorrow?" Then someone is late, it rains, or plans change.

The idea

One simple message: "I'm going to the park at 08:30." Your dog's friends hear about it. If it suits them, they come.

  1. 1
Tap "I'm going"Pick a time and one of your local fenced dog parks.
  2. 2
Only your dog's friends see itNo one else. Not the whole town, not strangers.
  3. 3
They answer Yes or NoNo "maybe". So you know whether to expect company.
  4. 4
Meet and playOnce the time has passed, the plan disappears. Nothing is kept.

BawBaw tells friends what you plan to do, not where you are now. "Someone is there now" doesn't help: by the time you arrive, they're leaving.

How dogs become friends

You can't search for people or dogs on BawBaw. There is no map of strangers.

The way to connect is to scan the other dog's code at the park, in person. So the only dogs you'll ever see are dogs you've actually met, with owners you've actually spoken to.

Walk your dog with a partner or family? They scan a separate code and walk the same dog, with the same friends.

What BawBaw will not do

This is the whole point, so we put it up front.
